3rd Annual World Suicide Prevention Week Gathering and Vigil

The Suicide Prevention Week Gathering and Vigil is designed to provide a safe space for community to gather to connect with resources, engage in healing and connecting activities, and remember those we have lost to suicide. The entire event is completely FREE, and everyone is welcome!

5-7pm (Indoors): Mental health resource expo, live music, engaging activities, specially designed henna tattoos, food, t-shirts, and therapy dogs. There is NO COST to any part of the event. 


7-8pm (Outdoor courtyard): Candlelight vigil to remember those we have lost to suicide. Candles will be provided, and misters will be present to keep everyone cool.

We are excited to have Zero Reasons return for their 3rd year performing at this event! Zero Reasons is a mental health-focused band that uses inspirational covers and powerful originals to spread awareness, understanding, and support about mental health. Zero Reasons will be performing full sets from 5-7pm and then providing an acoustic ensemble during the vigil portion of the event.

Over 40 organizations and community groups will be present with resources, education, volunteer and connection opportunities and more! See all of the participating organizations below!

Rock and canvas painting, friendship bracelets, poster creations, and much more! There will be multiple locations to engage in artistic and creative activities. This year there will also be a new Healing Space, with free items to support remembrance of loved ones and our personal journeys. 

Therapy Dogs

Come meet Beckett, Winston, Dabney, and more! Therapy dogs will be available for hugs and cuddles all evening. There also will be mental health providers available for anyone who wants to talk, and there is always a quiet room to take a step away whenever needed.

The candlelight vigil is an safe place to remember those we have lost to suicide. Everyone is welcome to attend, and everyone will receive a candle for remembrance.
