Semicolon Society provides free mental health education to the community, with an emphasis on suicide prevention and support. By providing direct discussions and resources about mental health, Semicolon Society seeks to reduce the stigma in having critical conversations, increase awareness and understanding of mental health challenges, and reduce suicide in our community.
Semicolon Society was founded by Dr. Paula McCall, an Arizona licensed psychologist who is passionate about providing access to free information, resources, discussions, and supports about mental health in her community. Her expertise in suicide prevention and crisis intervention led to her strong belief that open direct discussions and proactive actions can improve and save lives.
